Thumb time

We've been on a lucky streak because Luke keeps sleeping through the night most nights. He only wakes up if he somehow gets one of his arms out of the kiddopatomus.

He really found his thumb as you can see here. For about a week or so he was sticking it in there every chance he got. It's so cute! He's also discovered his hands and has been grabbing all his hanging toys. And he laughed out loud for the first time too. It's fun to hear the giggles come out of him when he smiles.

First Halloween

We (I) couldn't resist dressing him up for his first Halloween, even though he only wore the costume for a few minutes. He was much happier in it at home than when he wore it to my office.

Normally our Halloween preparations involve buying a bunch of candy for the neighborhood kids, hoping there will be some left at the end of the night. This year we also carved a pumpkin for Luke. We went wtih a silly pumpkin face so he wouldn't be scared.

Luke had his own treat to give for this Halloween - he's slept until 5-5:30 AM 4 of the last 6 nights!
