Tub Time

Tonight Luke graduated to the bath tub. He's 27 inches long so his head stuck out over the end of the baby tub and his feet dangled over the clean water part of the tub. We've been making quite a mess with the baby tub in the kitchen, plus he started grabbing the faucet so it was time to make the move. It wasn't as easy to bathe him in the tub, but it was less messy. He made a smooth transition and had a good time playing with his new bath toys.

Luke's experienced his first allergy season and he officially has allergies. The pollen counts have been out of sight this year. He also caught a little virus so he had to stay home with us a couple of days.

We got him his first Curious George book this weekend since he is quite curious himself. He likes being read to and he helps turn the pages. Here's the little patient reading.

He's still doing the military crawl and he's getting pretty fast. He likes to crawl to a hard surface and slap it. We've caught him up on his knees rocking back and forth a couple of times.

We think he's teething because he drools alot and chews on everything, but there are no signs of teeth that we can see yet. He's been playing with the sippee cup and chewing on it, but he hasn't figured out that he can drink from it.

Happy Easter!

Luke started making the "ma" sound now too so it sounds like he's saying Mama and Dada sometimes. He can be quite loud and he likes to make a lot of noise when he's playing with his toys or crawling around. We're going to try to be a shoeless house now that he's all over the place.
He's eating solids for 3 meals a day now and as long as he's not over tired he likes almost everything we give him. We've been putting some puffs on the high chair tray and he's been playing with them, but they're just about the only thing he doesn't put in his mouth.
We removed the bumper from his crib this weekend since we kept finding him like this.
