Luke recently discovered his shadow and every night he looks for it on the stairs and in his room. He's mystified when we turn on the lights and his shadow disappears. It's fun to play this game with him.

Dancing Time
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and a little dancing.
Luke enjoyed the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack.

Character
This week started off kind of hectic. Luke fell and hit his head right before it was time to pick him up on Monday. The cut was not very deep, but the teachers and veteran moms thought he might need stitches. His doctor's office couldn't get us in so we ventured to an urgent care center near our house. He didn't seem bothered by the cut other than pointing to his head and crying out "bo-bo! bo-bo!" every so often.
He was a little trooper, but we spent nearly two hours at the urgent care place (past dinner and bed time) and he was beside himself near the end. Luckily they didn't think he needed stitches and they were able to glue his skin together. They also had to give him a breathing treatment and some medicine for the wheezing that happened coincidentally while we were there. It was a long evening for all of us. On the bright side I think he got his first cool scar he can show the other kids.
