Luke started off his 2nd birthday celebration with a swim in the lake.
Then he shared some pretzels with his cousins Elise and Aden.
He had a really big party with my mom's side of the family during our family reunion. About 35 of us squeezed into our one bedroom cabin for cupcakes my mom and Ana Maria were kind enough to make. Even though Luke helped blow out the candle, he wasn't interested in eating the cupcake.
His cousin Cate had a great time at the party.
We ended the day with a walk out onto a pier on the lake. When I put Luke to bed that night I asked him if he had a good birthday. With his thumb in his mouth he shook his head yes.
